Invite Companion to your server. You need Blaze owner/staff access or the Blaze role, plus Manage Channels permission.

Set up your channels

  1. Run /quick-setup. No options are needed.
  2. Review the preview and select Confirm setup within ten minutes.
  3. Wait for the completion message. Large setups can take longer because of Discord’s rate limits.
Companion automatically selects the platforms included in your package and initializes missing settings for new customers. Platforms included in your package are activated during setup, even if previously inactive.

What gets created

  • One channel per non-Shopify platform, with all its sites and scraper alerts together.
  • Alphabetical monitor categories, such as Monitors [A-F] and Monitors [G-S]. Companion chooses the ranges to fit your channels, with up to 50 per category.
  • A separate Monitors [Shopify] category with 8 shared feeds: filtered and unfiltered products, 80%+ sales, queue, checkpoint, password, throttle, and domain updates. Quick setup only creates the 80%+ sales feed; lower discount bands are not included.
Setup enables non-Shopify site monitors and their scrapers on this server, and replaces their webhook destinations. Your product lists, Hyped automation preferences, Shopify site switches, and site-specific Shopify webhooks are preserved. Other servers keep their existing settings. Manage Hyped automation in the dashboard’s Products page. With Hyped automation off, add products to your lists to receive list-based alerts. See Monitor Commands.

Running setup again

Each run creates fresh channels and webhooks. Old channels remain, including after an interrupted setup. To remove them, run /purge-category category:<category> and select Delete category and channels after reviewing the confirmation. This permanently deletes all channels in the selected category, including their messages, threads, and webhooks, then deletes the category itself. Empty categories can also be purged. Both you and Companion need View Channel and Manage Channels permission on the category and its channels. Confirm within ten minutes. If the category’s contents change before deletion begins, run the command again to review the updated selection. Channels moved elsewhere are not deleted. If new channels appear during deletion, the category is kept for a new review. If you run the command in a channel being deleted, its confirmation and progress message disappear when that channel is deleted.
