Invite Companion, then create channels for the monitors in your package. You need Blaze owner/staff access or the Blaze role, plus Manage Channels. Companion needs View Channel, Send Messages, Manage Channels, and Manage Webhooks.

Get started

  1. Run /quick-setup hyped:true to enable hyped product alerts, or choose hyped:false to turn them off for non-Shopify platforms.
  2. Review the channel preview and select Confirm setup within ten minutes.
  3. Wait for the completion message.

Channel layout

  • Shopify: 11 shared feeds for products, sales, and store updates.
  • Retail, AIO, and Instore: one main channel per platform, shared by all its sites. A separate platform-new channel is created only when at least one site supports releases; otherwise, New notifications use the main channel.
Setup enables non-Shopify monitors and all their scrapers, and replaces their webhook destinations. Product lists are preserved. Shopify site switches and site-specific webhooks stay unchanged. With hyped:false, add products to your lists to receive list-based alerts. See Monitor Commands.

Cleanup

Every run creates fresh channels and webhooks. Old channels remain, including after a partial setup. Use /cleanup-category category:<category> to review and delete an old category’s channels, messages, and webhooks. The category itself stays.
